The Citrus Hurricanes basketball team (Inverness, FL), was nudged 38-37 in Friday's league battle with the host Belleview Rattlers (Belleview, FL)
The Rattlers now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest for a battle on Tuesday, January 9. Belleview will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 36-27 non-league win over Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-1.
The Hurricanes (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Brooksville, FL). The Bears come into the battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Central edged Citrus (Inverness, FL), 49-38, in a league battle.
