Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA), 73-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bishop Montgomery upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to play the Swordsmen in a bout on Friday, January 19. The Swordsmen come into the bout with a record of 12-3.

Next up, the Cavaliers play the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Serra will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Swordsmen come into the battle with a 12-3 record after their 61-59 league loss to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA).
