Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), 28-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stuarts Draft upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Staunton (Staunton, VA) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Staunton won 58-39 in their recent non-league bout against Broadway (Broadway, VA)

Next up, the Bison play the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Buffalo Gap will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Green Hornets go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 48-27 non-league win over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA).
