North Carolina High School Basketball - Cherryville ripped by Burns

The Burns Bulldogs basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Cherryville Ironmen to 30 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Burns will meet a Gryphons team coming off a 48-37 non-league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 3-0.
The Ironmen (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, East Gaston triumphed over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC), 54-28, in a non-league contest.
