Washington High School Basketball - River Ridge nudges Capital

In Friday's non-league outing, the River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA) basketball squad edged the visiting Capital Cougars (Olympia, WA), by a count of 64-60.

The Hawks (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Eastlake (Sammamish, WA). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Eastlake held off Newport - Bellevue (Bellevue, WA), 48-47, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Tumwater for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 6. Capital will clash with a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 60-38 non-league win over Black Hills (Tumwater, WA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 8-3.
