In Friday's non-league outing, the King George Foxes (King George, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA), by a count of 44-40.
The Foxes (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, Spotsylvania was tipped by Eastern View (Culpeper, VA), 43-35, in a non-league outing.
The Cavaliers now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Chancellor for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 9. Caroline will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 34-31 league loss to Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 8-3.
