Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wenatchee Panthers (Wenatchee, WA), 54-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Davis upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Pirates host Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Sunnyside lost 50-41 in their recent non-league bout against Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Wenatchee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 53-46 non-league win over Davis (Yakima, WA).
