Juniata Indians (Mifflintown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Juniata Tigers (McAlisterville, PA), 29-9 in a league bout.

With the win, Juniata upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Upper Dauphin Area (Elizabethville, PA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Line Mountain Eagles (Herndon, PA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 9. East Juniata will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
