The Fayetteville Academy Eagles topped the host Halifax Academy Vikings basketball team by a final score of 49-36 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the St. David's Warriors (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 9. Fayetteville Academy will attempt to move on its 10-0 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 4-5 record after their 53-37 league loss to Wake Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC).
With the defeat, Halifax Academy moves to 2-9 on the year. The Vikings travel to Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC) to battle the Spartans in a battle on Wednesday, January 10. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 3-4.
