Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Guilford Home Educators Heat (Guilford, NC), 45-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Forsyth Home Educators upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Hawks travel to North Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-2. North Charlotte lost 45-38 in their recent non-league bout against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)

Next up, the Heat clash with the South Wake Sabres (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Guilford Home Educators will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Sabres go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 57-20 league win over Oak Forest (Wake Forest, NC).
