The Pisgah Bears basketball team (Canton, NC), was nudged 43-39 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC)
The Panthers now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Henderson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 9. Franklin will battle a Knights team coming off a 64-55 non-league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 9-4.
The Bears (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, West Henderson edged Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC), 38-32, in a non-league battle.
