Hampton Christian Academy Warriors (Hampton, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Portsmouth Christian Patriots (Portsmouth, VA), 76-70 in a league bout.

With the win, Hampton Christian Academy upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Patriots play the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Portsmouth Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Mighty Oaks go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 58-54 league win over Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA).
