Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Monterey Dores (Monterey, CA), 57-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Hollister upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Haybalers travel to Watsonville (Watsonville, CA) to play the Wildcatz in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Wildcatz go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Dores play the Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Monterey will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
