Hope Christian Academy Lions (Starke, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Open Bible Christian (Valdosta, GA), 38-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Hope Christian Academy upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Lions host Westwood Christian (Live Oak, FL) to clash with the Warriors in a bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Westwood Christian won 30-27 in their recent league bout against Hope Christian Academy (Starke, FL)

Next up, the clash with the Corinth Christian Academy Warriors (Jasper, FL) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Open Bible Christian will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
