In Friday's league outing, the Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL), by a margin of 63-32.
The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Rochester (Rochester, IL). The Rockets go into the outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Rochester was trounced by Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL), 58-29, in a non-league outing.
The Crimsons now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Jersey for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 13.
