Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA), 28-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ware County upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Gators host Clinch County (Homerville, GA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Clinch County won 51-49 in their recent non-league bout against Coffee (Douglas, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Bradwell Institute Tigers (Hinesville, GA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Jenkins will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
