Klahowya Eagles (Silverdale, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA), 48-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Klahowya upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Eagles host North Mason (Belfair, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-5. North Mason lost 71-46 in their recent non-league bout against Olympic (Bremerton, WA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Chimacum Cowboys (Chimacum, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Vashon Island will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 48-24 non-league loss to Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA).
