North Carolina High School Basketball - Lawrence Academy tops Ridgecroft

January 5, 2024: Ahoskie, NC 27910

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) and the host Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC), saw Lawrence Academy's basketball squad knock off Ridgecroft by a tally of 42-27.

With the victory, Lawrence Academy improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Ocracoke (Ocracoke, NC) to play the Dolphins in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Dolphins go into the test with a record of 1-5. Ocracoke lost 66-33 in their recent non-league test against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC)

The Rams now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pungo Christian Academy for a test on Tuesday, January 9. Ridgecroft will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 38-37 league win over Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 3-6.
