Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Winters Warriors (Winters, CA), 61-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Pierce upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Bears host Paradise (Paradise, CA) to clash with the Bobcats in a bout on Monday, January 8. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Paradise won 73-59 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity (Weaverville, CA)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 19. Winters will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
