North Carolina High School Basketball - Triton edges Westover

January 5, 2024: Erwin, NC 28339

The Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC), 35-34 in Friday's league test.

The Hawks (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles go into the test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Western Harnett was tipped by Overhills (Spring Lake, NC), 68-30, in a non-league test.

The Wolverines now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Overhills for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Westover will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 68-30 non-league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-2.
