The Oxnard Yellowjackets basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Pacifica Tritons to 62 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Monday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Barbara for a Channel outing on Wednesday, January 7. Oxnard will clash with a Dons squad coming off a 87-59 league win over Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Dons record now stands at 10-7.

The Tritons (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Buena (Ventura, CA). The Bulldogs come into the Channel outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Buena was nipped by Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA), 50-40, in a league outing.
