Centennial Baptist Mustangs (Caldwell, ID) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wilder Wildcats (Wilder, ID), 43-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Centennial Baptist upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Hagerman (Hagerman, ID) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, January 7. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Hagerman lost 61-13 in their recent non-league bout against Carey (Carey, ID)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Greenleaf Friends Academy Grizzlies (Greenleaf, ID) in a 1A Western Idaho bout, on Monday, January 10. Wilder will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 38-36 league loss to Notus (Notus, ID).
