Adena Warriors (Frankfort, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Southeastern Panthers (Chillicothe, OH), 52-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Adena upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Westfall (Williamsport, OH) to clash with the Mustangs in a Scioto Valley bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-10. Westfall lost 55-50 in their recent league bout against Huntington (Chillicothe, OH)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Federal Hocking Lancers (Stewart, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 8. Southeastern will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 41-35 league loss to Belpre (Belpre, OH).
