The Caledonia Cavaliers basketball team (Caledonia, MS), dropped 46-32 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL)
The Stallions now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sulligent for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 8. South Lamar will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 50-30 league win over Aliceville (Aliceville, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-2.
The Cavaliers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS). The Braves come into the 4A Region 1 battle with a 20-0 record. In their last battle, Tishomingo County beat Mooreville (Mooreville, MS), 69-38, in a league battle.
