Nevada High School Basketball - Lake Mead Academy trounces Laughlin

The Lake Mead Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV) basketball crushed the host Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV), 42-12 in Thursday's league test.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their test against GV Christian (Henderson, NV). The Guardians go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, GV Christian walloped Amplus Academy (Las Vegas, NV), 46-7, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to White Pine for a 2A South test on Saturday, January 8. Laughlin will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 46-23 league loss to Lincoln County (Panaca, NV). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-7.
