The Adrian Dragons basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Heron Lake-Okabena Wildcats to 68 in the Dragons league triumph on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westbrook-Walnut Grove for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Adrian will meet a Chargers team coming off a 53-31 league win over Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 5-1.

The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Hills-Beaver Creek was nudged by Murray County Central (Slayton, MN), 91-63, in a league contest.
