Michigan High School Basketball - Alcona over Whittemore-Prescott

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI) and the visiting Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals (Whittemore, MI), saw Alcona's basketball squad overcome Whittemore-Prescott by a tally of 57-47.

With the victory, Alcona improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Ogemaw Heights lost 46-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI)

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons (Saginaw, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Whittemore-Prescott will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
