With the victory, Aliquippa improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Quips travel to Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Flames in a WPIAL 2A 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Flames come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Northgate lost 80-65 in their recent league challenge against Shenango (New Castle, PA)

Next up, the play the Laurel Spartan (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Sewickley Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Spartan come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 60-51 league win over South Side (Hookstown, PA).
