New York High School Basketball - Scotia-Glenville overwhelmed by Amsterdam

The Scotia-Glenville Tartans basketball team (Scotia, NY), was overwhelmed 79-49 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY)

The Rams now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Tech for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Amsterdam will confront a Eagles team coming off a 47-43 non-league loss to Christian Brothers Academy (Albany, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.

The Tartans (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Hudson Falls (Hudson Falls, NY). The Tigers come into the Section 2 Foothills battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Hudson Falls trounced South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY), 59-43, in a league battle.
