The Andress Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host El Paso Tigers to 50 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canutillo for a 5A Region I District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Andress will battle a Eagles team coming off a 46-45 league loss to Burges (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-10.

The Tigers (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (El Paso, TX). The Silver Foxes come into the 5A Region I District 1 contest with a 0-18 record. In their last contest, Jefferson was defeated by Chapin (El Paso, TX), 75-25, in a league contest.
