Iowa High School Basketball - Southeast Polk can't hold off Ankeny Centennial

The Ankeny Centennial Jaguars basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Southeast Polk Rams to 52 in the Jaguars league triumph on Friday.
The Jaguars now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Urbandale for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Ankeny Centennial will battle a J-Hawks team coming off a 50-49 non-league win over Ankeny (Ankeny, IA). The J-Hawks record now stands at 3-8.
The Rams (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Waukee (Waukee, IA). The Warriors enter the Central Iowa Metro - East contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Waukee nudged Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, KS), 69-55, in a non-league contest.
