Iowa High School Basketball - Ankeny can't hold off Urbandale

The Urbandale J-Hawks basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Ankeny Hawks to 49 in the J-Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The J-Hawks now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ankeny Centennial for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Urbandale will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 54-52 league win over Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-3.
The Hawks (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Mormon Trail nudged Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA), 77-34, in a league contest.
