The Broncos now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sullivan for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Cerro Gordo/Bement will confront a Redskins team coming off a 54-35 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 3-11.

The Bombers (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Meridian (Macon, IL). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, Meridian edged Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL), 51-34, in a league battle.
