With the win, Atchison County upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Tigers host Jackson Heights (Holton, KS) to clash with the Cobras in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Cobras go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Jackson Heights won 47-43 in their recent non-league bout against McLouth (McLouth, KS)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Jackson Heights Cobras (Holton, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Oskaloosa will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Cobras go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 63-26 non-league loss to Atchison County (Effingham, KS).
