Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting B O L D Warriors (Olivia, MN), 72-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sauk Centre upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mainstreeters travel to Montevideo (Montevideo, MN) to play the Thunderhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Thunderhawks go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Montevideo won 52-48 in their recent league bout against Luverne (Luverne, MN)

Next up, the Warriors play the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers (Morris, MN) in a AA Section 3 bout, on Friday, January 6. B O L D will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
