North Fremont Huskies (Ashton, ID) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bear Lake Bears (Montpelier, ID), 62-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Fremont upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Huskies host West Jefferson (Terreton, ID) to play the Panthers in a 2A Nuclear bout on Thursday, January 12. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Bears play the Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Bear Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record.
