Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Beardstown Tigers (Beardstown, IL) and the host Rushville-Industry Rockets (Rushville, IL), witnessed Beardstown's basketball squad beat Rushville-Industry by a margin of 58-50.

The Tigers (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Astoria/VIT was beaten by Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL), 62-44, in a league test.

The Rockets now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Macomb for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10.
