The Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA), 55-47 in Friday's league test.
The Yellowjackets (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Dodge County (Eastman, GA). The Indians go into the AA Region 1 test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Dodge County notched a victory over Worth County (Sylvester, GA), 69-41, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Cook for a AA Region 1 test on Saturday, January 7. Berrien will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 71-50 league loss to Sumter County (Americus, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-8.
