Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees (Bardstown, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY), 59-44 in a league bout.
With the victory, Bethlehem upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Eagles/Banshees travel to Washington County (Springfield, KY) to play the Commanders in a District 19 bout on Monday, January 9. The Commanders come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Washington County won 71-42 in their recent league bout against Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY) in a District 19 bout, on Friday, January 13. Nelson County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Generals come into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 99-34 non-league loss to Madison Southern (Berea, KY).
