The Bishop Blanchet Bears basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Roosevelt Roughriders to 44 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seattle Prep for a 3A Metro contest on Tuesday, January 10. Bishop Blanchet will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 48-44 league loss to West Seattle (Seattle, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-10.

Next up, the Roughriders clash with the Eastside Catholic Crusaders (Sammamish, WA) in a 3A Metro bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 63-54 league loss to Rainier Beach (Seattle, WA).
