The Braswell Bengals basketball team (Little Elm, TX), was overwhelmed 83-52 in Friday's league battle with the host Prosper Eagles (Prosper, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allen for a 6A Region I District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Prosper will battle a Eagles team coming off a 78-56 league win over Guyer (Denton, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 19-6.
The Bengals (13-10) will now prepare for their battle against Little Elm (Little Elm, TX). The Lobos come into the 6A Region I District 5 battle with a 12-11 record. In their last battle, Little Elm was overwhelmed by Rock Hill (Frisco, TX), 43-35, in a league battle.
