Brentwood Christian Bears (Austin, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights (Austin, TX), 72-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Brentwood Christian upgrades its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Bears travel to John Paul II (New Braunfels, TX) to play the Guardians in a TAPPS 4A District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Guardians come into the bout with a record of 8-14. John Paul II won 60-39 in their recent league bout against Veritas Academy (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Knights play the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers (Austin, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Hill Country Christian School of Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
