Burlingame Bearcats (Burlingame, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Madison/Hamilton Bulldogs (Madison, KS), 45-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Burlingame upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Hartford (Hartford, KS) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Hartford lost 79-32 in their recent non-league bout against Olpe (Olpe, KS)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Lebo Wolves (Lebo, KS) in a Lyon County bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Madison/Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 83-13 non-league win over Southern Coffey County (LeRoy, KS).
