The Byron Eagles basketball team (Byron, MI), was routed 66-45 in Friday's league battle with the visiting New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI)
The Hornets now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chesaning for a Mid-Michigan battle on Wednesday, January 11.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI). The Marauders come into the Mid-Michigan battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Ovid-Elsie trounced Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI), 65-24, in a league battle.
