The Tuloso-Midway Warriors/Cherokees basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Calallen Wildcats to 30 in the Warriors/Cherokees league victory on Friday.

The Warriors/Cherokees now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King for a 4A Region IV District 31 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Tuloso-Midway will battle a Brahmas team coming off a 66-49 league win over Alice (Alice, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 12-8.

The Wildcats (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against King (Kingsville, TX). The Brahmas come into the 4A Region IV District 31 contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, King was routed by Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX), 78-76, in a league contest.
