In Friday's league outing, the Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX), by a margin of 72-50.
The Pirates (14-8) will now prepare for their outing against Ingleside (Ingleside, TX). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region IV District 30 outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Ingleside smashed Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX), 56-49, in a league outing.
The Sandcrabs now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Rockport-Fulton for a 4A Region IV District 30 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Calhoun will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 35-32 league loss to Jones (Beeville, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 18-7.
