In their next game, the Black Eagles face the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) in a Mountain State game, on Tuesday, January 10. South Charleston will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 4-1 record after their 74-65 league win over Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV).

With the defeat, Capital moves to 2-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Princeton (Princeton, WV) to battle the Tigers in a Mountain State battle on Saturday, January 7. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 8-2. Princeton lost 73-48 in their recent non-league battle against Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV)
