Cass Tech Technicians (Detroit, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Southeastern Jungaleers (Detroit, MI), 66-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cass Tech upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Technicians travel to Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Carman-Ainsworth won 73-28 in their recent league bout against Central (Bay City, MI)

Next up, the Jungaleers play the Western International Cowboys (Detroit, MI) in a Detroit Public I bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Southeastern will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Cowboys come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 75-72 league win over Ford (Detroit, MI).
