Mississippi High School Basketball - Central Holmes Christian overwhelmed by St. Joseph

The St. Joseph Fighting Irish basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Central Holmes Christian Trojans to 27 in the Fighting Irish league victory on Friday.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host McEvans for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. St. Joseph will battle a Warriors team coming off a 52-46 league win over West Tallahatchie (Webb, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 10-5.
The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph (Greenville, MS). The Fighting Irish come into the MAIS 4A District 2 contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph was routed by McEvans (Shaw, MS), 68-50, in a non-league contest.
