The Page County Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Central Woodstock Falcons to 40 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View for a Bull Run contest on Monday, January 9. Page County will meet a Generals team coming off a 61-33 league loss to Clarke County (Berryville, VA). The Generals record now stands at 0-9.

The Falcons (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against James Wood (Winchester, VA). The Colonels enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, James Wood was outscored by Handley (Winchester, VA), 77-52, in a league contest.
